Teenagers now reach for their phones rather than their toothbrushes as soon as they wake up. In contrast to earlier times, phones are now considered necessities rather than wants by young people. Teenagers can use various apps, including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Snapchat, to stay in touch with friends and family thanks to phones' improved connectivity. Elders may think that phones are a distraction from studying, but in reality, they have made it easier for students to access both academic and non-academic content online. Apps like Byju's, Udemy, YouTube tutorials, and online courses have helped students make efficient use of their time, particularly during the online class lockdown. Additionally, phones have served as a platform for expressing one's creativity. Teens use their phones to create content, write, design, create reels, and vlog.During the COVID-19 lockdown, more than 52% of teenagers said they used social media more frequently. Phones are mini worlds of teenagers. Many may argue that phones are highly addictive, have a negative impact on mental health, and interfere with sleep. However, balance is crucial; it's not about right and wrong, but rather how we use them.
